New York International Ballet Competition (NYIBC) is pleased to invite you to participate in its annual program, New York Dance (NYD), which takes place June 23-30, 2008. This program is designed for teachers and their serious dance students at the intermediate and advanced levels. It is an intensive week of study that is both educational and exhilarating.

You and your students will take two classes a day in whatever discipline you wish at the most prestigious studios in New York City. In the evening you will go to performances at New York City Ballet (NYCB), American Ballet Theatre (ABT), and a Broadway Show.
An adult must accompany dance students under the age of 18. Dancers 18 or older may attend the program without adult accompaniment.

Everyone will stay at the beautiful Hotel Beacon. You will share one and two bedroom suites that include a lovely kitchenette. The hotel is located just steps from Lincoln Center.
To complete this exciting program we have organized receptions for all the participants that will promote the sharing of cultural backgrounds and enrich their lives with lasting friendships. Your students will experience the life of a dancer in New York, the dance capital of the world and every dancer will return to their home with a broader view of dance and humanity.

Eligibility for New York Dance:
Students under 18 must be accompanied by a teacher or an adult.
Students younger than 12 must have permission from their teacher and the Director of NYIBC.
No audition necessary; however, teacher recommendation required.
