Counselors
New York International Ballet Competition is looking for individuals interested in working as Counselors at the 11th NYIBC to take place during June 2013.As a Counselor you:
• Share accommodations with the dancers.
• Watch rehearsals at the theater and the studios.
• See NYIBC, American Ballet Theatre, and New York City Ballet performances.
• Attend extracurricular activities and interact with participating dancers from all over the world.
For those with a background in dance, this is a particularly interesting and educational experience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet world-renowned dance luminaries and to learn the ins and outs of a major dance production in New York City while actively helping to coordinate the dancers’ activities for the 3-week duration of NYIBC.
Counselor positions are compensated with room, board and performance tickets.
