Are you interested in a behind the scenes look at NYIBC? The Dance Family Program provides the perfect opportunity to interact closely with NYIBC's dancers. Make a difference in a young dancer's life as they experience the excitement of learning and performing in the dance capital of the world. Dance Families work together to provide assistance and moral support to the participating dancers.Sample Calendar from NYIBC

Dance Families meet the dancers upon their arrival in New York City to help them settle in to their accommodations at Fordham University at 60th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues. The next day, Dance Families are invited to a Welcome Brunch and orientation meeting with NYIBC's coaches, teachers, dancers, patrons and other Dance Family members.

Dance Families are also invited to attend rehearsals at the Ailey Studios. Each Dance Family receives two complimentary tickets per performance, as well as two tickets to the Awards Ceremony and Gala Performance. All performances take place at the elegant Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in the Time Warner Building.

Following the Gala Performance, NYIBC culminates in a Black Tie Dinner Dance fundraiser. We hope that our Dance Families will be interested in purchasing two tickets for this event. This very special fundraiser will help NYIBC to grow and continue the unique opportunity for future dancers and dance lovers that is NYIBC.

Share the dancer’s excitement. Be a part of making this the best New York International Ballet Competition ever!
